CELEBRATION OF 125TH BIRTH ANNIVERSARY OF ALLURI SITARAMARAJU

Celebration of 125^th Birth Anniversary of Alluri Sitaramaraju, the Tribal Warrior, The Department of History, celebrated the 125^th birth anniversary of Alluri Sitaramaraju, the hero of the tribal people on a grand scale on 04-07-2022. Principal, Dr. P. Srinivasarao, observed that with his chivalry, he fortified the forests and curbed the British from exploiting the innocent forest dwellers. He guarded the forest produce from being plundered. Sri N.J.K. Narendra Kumar, Vice-Principal, said that he was a terror to the British who put them to endless sleepless nights with his Valery. Dr. Santosh, Head, Department of History, narrated the life history of Sri Alluri Seetaramaraju which is very motivating and instills pride towards the Motherland. Dr. Syed Mir Hassim, Director, IQAC, opined that he was and is inspirational and guiding force not only to the youth of his times but also to the present youth. Smt. N. Manimala, Lecturer in Botany, Members of Staff and students took part in the special programme.
