THE TWO-WEEK UGC SPONSORED ONLINE REFRESHER COURSE ON ENGLISH LANGUAGE

Dr. Syed Mir Hassim, Lecturer in English attended the Two-Week UGC sponsored Online Refresher Course on English Language organized by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad(J.N.T.U.H.) from 11-07-2022 to 23-07-2022. The Course comprised of 48 lectures, 24 assignments and feedbacks, and a Mini Research Project(M.R.P.) It is learnt that the Course covered a wide range of issues concerning English Language and Literature. A few topics do need a mention here which include, Discourse Analysis, Forensic Linguistics, Integration of Culture in the English Classroom, Task Based Teaching, Neuro Linguistic Approach in an English Classroom, Ecology and Language, Art of Story Telling and so on. The sessions were very engaging and inspiring. The sessions warrant a strong recommendation to others to attend and get benefit out of such enlightening live presentations.
