UGADI CELEBRATIONS-2022
Under the banner Women Empowerment Cell and IQAC a unique programme was devised and organized. Under the stewardship of Mrs. M. Manimala, Convener, Lt. G. J. Mounika, Co-convener and Dr. Syed Mir Hassim, Programme Director the event was executed on 2022.
THE CHIEF GUESTS:This rarest ever event was graced by Mr. Yadagiri, Corporate Chef, Vivaha Bojanambu and host of Ruchi Chudu, Vanitha TV and Chef Raju, host of Abhiruchi , ETV Channels, Respectively.
International Women’s Day Celebrations-2022
The Women Empowerment Cell of the College conducted a series of activities in connection with the celebrations of international women’s day 2022. The students were encourage to participate in the activities organize by the women empowerment cell from time to time. International women’s day is absorbed to establish equity in every sense of the term. On this occasion everyone is educated on the access concerning women’s issues it aims to provide a level playing field to its shake holder. Under the super vision of Mrs. N. Mani Mala, the Convener of Women Empowerment Cell and which her crew many activities were planned and executed.Several acitvities Musical Chair Competition,Fancy Dress Competition,Skipping,Fire less cooking and Essay Writing are conducted.
National Girl Child Day(January 24th 2022)
The National Girl Child Day is celebrated in India every year on January 24th.In Government Degree College,Chintalapudi Women Empowerment Cell conducted National Girl Child Day on 24th January with the following objectives.
Objectives

To spread awareness among people about inequalities faced by girls in the country.

To promote awareness about the rights of girl children.

To increase awareness on the importance of female education, health, and nutrition.

Savitribai Phule Jayanthi(3rd January)
Savitribai Phule was an Indian social reformer, educationalist, and poet . Along with her husband, in Maharashtra, she played an important and vital role in improving women's rights in India. She is considered to be the pioneer of India's feminist movement. Savitribai and her husband founded one of the first modern Indian girls' school in Pune, at Bhide wada in 1848.She worked to abolish the discrimination and unfair treatment of people based on caste and gender. She is regarded as an important figure of the social reform movement in Maharashtra.
On 3rd January 2022 Savitribai Phule Jayanthi celbrated Government Degree College,Chintalapudi by the Telugu Department and Women Empowerment Cell.
