DEPARTMENT OF History PROFILE
The Government Degree college is established in the year 1987 at chintalapudi West Godavari district. The college is affiliated to the Andhra University. The college was sanctioned vide G.O.M.S.NO.313 Edn Dated 15-12-1987. History Department was started since the inception of the college. Sri was appointed as a Lecturer and HOD inception of the college. Presently Dr A.Santhosha Rao as a HOD since 2021.

After identifying slow learners basing on the marks in semester Examinations of II B.A and III B.A and Internal Examinations in the case of First year the department has been conducting Remedial classes at least once in a month from July to February for II and III year students.
